FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we all have to do the same activity?
No! Creative programming can allow guests to participate in the activities they individually wish to, during their stay. Do keep in mind however that group numbers do influence the options available.

Can I Golf, and my wife have the therapies to Glow?
Yes, each person can choose their programme and be charged for individual components to allow versatility.

Can we take over the whole of The Beeches for our Special Celebration?
Yes with a minimum charge for 8 full board guests.

Can we choose our menus?
Jude will invite you to discuss your dietary preferences and your input will influence the menus. Special diets can always be accommodated with prior notice.

Do we have to bring lots of outdoor gear?
All technical equipment is provided for you although we do ask guests to provide their own foot wear, waterproof jackets and over trousers.

Can you collect us from Kingussie Rail Station as our train does not stop in Newtonmore?
Yes it is a short 5 minute journey in the car and with advance notice we would be delighted to collect and deposit you as required.

Can I book a single room and is there a supplement?
Depending on availability you may be able to book single occupancy of a twin room. At this time we charge a supplement of £5 per night for single occupancy of a twin room.

Do you cater for pets?
We do not have domestic pets ourselves at The Beeches and therefore do not have facilities that are conducive to guests bringing pets. Sorry!

Can we bring our toddler and baby?
This is possible and especially if you are booking the whole house. Do please be aware that there are open fires, stairs and potential hazards for children in the house. Parents are completely responsible for the safe keeping of their children during their stay and we do encourage and enjoy a quiet ambience in and around the Beeches.

What happens if we want to canoe or walk and have less than 4 people?
You could try to encourage others to come and be guests with you to make up numbers or you could choose to pay the fee for a group of 4 participants.
