ABOUT THE OWNERS

Jude and Dave Craig are life and business partners who invested in the Beeches in 2002 with a view to creating a harmonious haven where people could reside and experience nature at its best. This oasis of calm has arrived and Jude and Dave adore living in and sharing the joys of their tranquil and charming home, with like minded people wishing to indulge in the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. 

JUDE CRAIG comes from an Educational, lecturing background and is a tutor and practitioner of a wide range of natural therapies.  She established The Edinburgh Therapy Academy in 1998 and has since graduated hundreds of Complementary Therapy Diploma practitioners.  She now focuses her attention on her private therapy practice at The Beeches, offering restorative, relaxing Therapy Retreats and inspirational Personal Development workshops.  She is passionate about supporting people on their holistic, well being journey and creates a captivatingly special space to simply “be” at The Beeches.

DAVE CRAIG has a background in Education and Community Work and is exceptionally well known in the field of Outdoor activity training and First Aid training. He has extensive experience in offering high quality training opportunities specialising in Canadian Canoeing, Snow Sports, Hill Walking and Environmental appreciation.  He is joint founder of Outwardly Mobile First Aid and offers certificate courses that can meet the needs of all groups or individuals. Dave is a passionate educationalist with a great enthusiasm to share his knowledge and joy of nature with others.   

ABOUT THE LOCATION

The Beeches is situated in Strathspey and boasts beautiful local scenery with hills beyond on all sides and the River Spey only a few minutes away.  The Beeches has been lovingly restored to offer comfortable, homely accommodation for ten house guests.  It is set in its own private grounds within mature gardens and offers ample parking. 
It is within a short walking distance of public transport for those wishing to travel by train or coach.
